Post-Install Instructions

Vehicle Window Tint Aftercare

Thanks for trusting Tint King with your vehicle. We appreciate your business and want to make sure your new tint looks as good as possible for as long as possible.

What To Expect After Installation

Water bubbles, slight haze, distortion, and a cloudy or wet appearance are all normal after a fresh tint install. This is moisture trapped between the film and the glass as the adhesive cures.

Tint can take up to 2 weeks to fully dry depending on weather and humidity. Warmer and drier conditions will speed up the process. Do not try to pop, squeeze, or wipe the bubbles — just let it cure.

Important Tint Aftercare Instructions

01

Keep Windows Rolled Up

Keep your windows rolled up for 1 to 2 days after installation. The adhesive needs time to fully cure. Rolling them down too early can peel or lift the film.

02

Do Not Clean Inside Windows For 7 Days

Wait a full week before cleaning the inside of your windows. The film is still setting and contact with cleaning products can interfere with the cure.

03

Use Microfiber And Ammonia-Free Cleaner Only

Use a clean, soft microfiber cloth and ammonia-free glass cleaner. Windex, paper towels, and abrasive pads will damage the film.

04

Watch Out For Sharp Objects And Metal

Seatbelts, rings, keys, metal tools, and sharp edges can chip or scratch tint. Be careful around windows, especially after a fresh install.

Cold Weather Tip

Because water is used during installation and the shop can be humid, moisture may linger inside the vehicle after a cold-weather install. Leave the vehicle in a heated garage overnight with the doors slightly open, or run the defrost on high after pickup to help the moisture clear faster.

Keep Your Window Moldings Clean

Dust and debris that collects in the bottom window moldings can get dragged across the tint when you roll windows up and down. Clean or blow out any trapped debris regularly to avoid scratches.

Dot Matrix And Edge Dots

Some vehicles may show silvery or whitish areas around the dot matrix at the edges of the glass. Wait about a week, then gently press those areas with your finger wrapped in a soft cloth to help the film adhere fully.

Tint Warranty

Your tint comes with a full lifetime warranty against peeling or bubbling. Scratching, chipping, metal contact, and misuse are not covered under warranty unless Noir Tint is installed. If you have any questions, issues, or concerns, send us a message or call us directly and we will help.
